Can you use Systane® ULTRA lubricant eye drops with contact lenses?

Yes, Systane® ULTRA lubricant eye drops can be used while wearing contact lenses.

How is Systane® HYDRATION different than Systane® HYDRATION PRESERVATIVE-FREE?

Systane® HYDRATION is a preserved formulation suitable for occasional users, which contains a very small quantity of the preservative (POLYQUAD™ 0.001%). Systane® HYDRATION PRESERVATIVE-FREE lubricant eye drop is a preservative-free formulation, suitable for frequent users and available in a multi-dose bottle with the PureFlow® technology.

How long does Systane® Gel Drops last after opening?

Systane® GEL DROPS 10mL bottle can be used for 3 months after opening, as long as the product has not expired. Always check the label for the expiration date.

Are Systane eye drops safe for dogs?

SYSTANE® eye drops are designed for humans. Talk to your vet about canine eye issues before deciding on a treatment that’s right for your pet.

Are Systane eye drops safe during pregnancy?

Yes. If you have experienced dry eyes either before or during pregnancy, you can safely use SYSTANE® eye drops designed for dry eye relief. Check with your doctor before using any new medications during pregnancy.

Can I use SYSTANE® after cataract surgery?

Yes. SYSTANE® Hydration is a good choice for dry eye drops after LASIK or cataract surgery.

Are SYSTANE® eye drops safe for children?

Yes. SYSTANE® eye drops are generally approved for use by adults and children. Please consult your pediatrician to determine which eye drops are right for your child. Check the product packaging for dosage information.
